What is CBD?
- Cannabis is a plant of the Cannabaceae family and contains more than eighty biologically active chemical compounds. The most commonly known compounds are delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). THC is the component that produces the “high” associated with marijuana use. Much interest has been seen around CBD and its potential related to health benefits.
Is Marijuana different from CBD?
- Marijuana is different from CBD. CBD is a single compound in the cannabis plant, and marijuana is a type of cannabis plant or plant material that contains many naturally occurring compounds, including CBD and THC.
FDA Approved CBD Products?
- The FDA has approved only one CBD product, a prescription drug product to treat two rare, severe forms of epilepsy.

What Is Delta-8-THC?
What does broad spectrum mean?
A broad spectrum CBD oil contains many of the active phytochemicals found in hemp plants, excluding the euphoria-inducing THC compound. This greater variety of active ingredients provides a greater variety of properties than a CBD isolate oil could provide.
What does full spectrum mean?
A full spectrum oil uses all of the hemp plant’s active phytonutrients and small amounts (less than 0.3%) of THC. This combination of CBD with other phytonutrients, terpenes, and cannabinoids creates something known as the entourage effect in which the compounds work together.
Is your brand Certified Organic?
As of September 1st, 2020 all of the Joy Organic branded products of CBD, have been certified as organic, by the USDA. Which means we are allowed to use the official USDA Certified Organic seal on our products. 
Will I get high from CBD Products?
NO. You will not get high from our CBD products. Our products are either THC Free, or contain 0.3% or less of THC Delta 9.
Can Delta-8-THC get you high like Delta-9 THC?
Delta-8 will certainly get you high, but not necessarily like Delta-9 THC. According to the National Cancer Institute, Delta-8 THC exhibits “lower psychotropic potency” than Delta-9 and might bind with brain’s receptors differently than Delta-9, thereby explaining the variation of effects.
As such, consumers have reported feeling less intense psychoactive effects with Delta-8 THC. But still noticeable. Delta-8 users experience appetite stimulation, and euphoria–just not as intensely as they do from THC.
Are your products legal in all 50 states?
YES. All our products are sourced from industrial hemp grown in the USA. All CBD & Delta 8 THC products are federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill.
Will I fail a drug test if I use your products?
Passing or failing a drug test using CBD products all depends on the lab testing the samples. Although our products contain less than 0.3% THC it is still possible for a false positive.
Where is your Hemp Flower grown?
All our hemp flower is hand selected and grown in the USA by credible farmers. With a majority of the hemp coming from states like Colorado, Oregon, and Georgia.
